Colder weather moving in
The chill is back in southeast Texas. Temperatures were in the 50s Monday morning with a brisk north wind at 10 to 20 mph.
We'll have a full day of sunshine but temperatures won't warm up very much. Our afternoon highs will be in the mid 60s -- 20 degrees colder than our warm and humid weekend. Dry air has also moved in so the humidity will be incredibly low.
And there won't be a rollercoaster ride with our temperatures this week. We'll have high temperatures in the 60s through Friday! If you love a dry fall feel, this is your week.
Make sure you dress warmly Tuesday morning. We'll have a low temperature of 39 degrees in Houston and our northern counties will be near freezing. The last time we were this cold was on Feb. 26.
