Coast Guard rescue teams pulled several people to safety near Corpus Christi on Thursday.
According to officials, the Corpus Christi Police Department called the Coast Guard at at 9:07 a.m. saying the captain of a 21-foot recreation boat had called them and reported that his boat capsized and the five people aboard were in need of assistance.
Three children, a 7-year-old boy and two 13-year-old girls, and two adults were rescued.
According to USCG, after the rescue, the boy said he was scared.
"I thought I was hung up on the boat [when it overturned.]" he added.
No one was hurt, according to officials.
