Church asks for public's help to find thieves

WEBSTER, Texas -

Webster police detectives are searching for the suspects who targeted the Bay Area Presbyterian church.

Church members and workers reportedly locked the doors and left on Jan. 26 around 9 p.m.

The thieves broke into the building sometime after that, the police report said.

Investigators said the thieves took laptops, sound and video equipment, credit cards, and cash.

The items were discovered missing around 6:45 a.m. on Jan. 27 when the church was opened.

The public is asked to call police if they noticed anything suspicious. Contact the Webster Police Department at 281-316-4163.
