Chambers County charges 5 in connection with girl's rape

BEACH CITY, Texas -

A mother and son are charged in connection to a sexual assault of an underage girl.

According to the Chambers County Sheriff's Office, Kendall Mahar, 17, and three juvenile boys are accused of sexually assaulting a girl at different locations on multiple occasions.

Mahar is charged with aggravated sexual assault on a juvenile.

The three juveniles are charged with aggravated sexual assault.

Mahar's mother, Carla Immel Mahar, 44, is charged with abandon/endangering a child.

Both mother and son surrendered to the Chambers County sheriff's office on Feb.6.
