SOUTH HOUSTON, Texas -

Surveillance video released Monday showed a group of teens being assaulted and robbed at a convenience store.

City of South Houston police said one teen was shot.

An 18-year-old teen said he was still shaken up after the incident at Super Texas shook-up after he and four friends were attacked at the Super Texas Food Store, 506 Houston Blvd., about 11:50 p.m. on Saturday.

Surveillance video showed images of him and another teen boy walking up to the store and waving at someone.

When the boy came out with what appears to be a six-pack of beer, a man pointed a gun and robbed him.

What happens next was tough to see in the video. Police said there were up four attackers.

"They walked up to the truck where we had the three young females sitting there, walked over to the truck and demanded things from the girls. I don't think things went the way they wanted, so apparently shots were fired," Police Chief Herbert Gilbert said.

A 17-year-old girl was shot three times in the upper right side of her body.  She was rushed to Memorial Hermann Hospital, had surgery and was released.

One of the victims said his sister was sitting next to the girl who was shot.

"We're terrified. We don't want to go anywhere over there. We were just at the wrong place and wrong time," said the victim, who did not want to be identified.

Descriptions of the attackers have not been released.
