A cat shot with an arrow and left for dead is recovering, and a dog is being credited with finding her.
The incident happened in February on Keith Harrow near Highway 6 in Bear Creek.
A woman's dog found the injured animal in their back yard. The dog alerted the owner, who rushed the cat to a nearby animal clinic.
Liz Giles works at the clinic. She said they worked quickly to save the cat, now named Cupid.
"She's doing really good now," she said. "We still have her in intensive care, and she needs another surgery to help her get through."
Giles said she's never seen anything like this at the clinic before.
