GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas -

Officials in a Dallas suburb are warning that smoke could make driving hazardous on some major highways because of a prescribed burn at a nearby state park.

A statement from Grand Prairie city officials say the Texas Forest Service will be burning on 50 acres near Joe Pool Lake in Cedar Hill State Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Texas Department of Transportation officials say that could generate smoke that could pose visibility problems on Texas 360, Loop 12 and Interstate 20 nearby.
