Boy to serve detention for urinating in water bottle

The Klein Independent School District reversed its decision to send a seventh-grader to an alternative school as punishment for going to the bathroom in a water bottle during class.

The boy was reportedly drinking bottled water in class on January 13th which according to school policy is not allowed.

The boy said he asked his teacher if he could go to the bathroom but according to reports from several students inside the classroom, she repeatedly refused. Students said at one point the teacher even said "I hope you pee on yourself."

The boy said he finally snuck the water bottle up his pant leg and relieved himself.

Instead of going to an alternative school, the student will serve three days of after school detention.
