Bomb threat made against downtown hotel
Police: Caller said bomb would detonate near Hotel Icon
A downtown Houston hotel was evacuated Tuesday because of a bomb threat.
Houston police said the threat was made against Hotel Icon, 220 Main Street near Congress, shortly before 4 p.m.
Investigators said the caller stated that a bomb was planted in the area and would go off in 20 minutes.
No explosions were reported.
Police said they were working to determine who made the threat.
