Body found under freeway ramp
A man was found dead under a freeway interchange Tuesday afternoon.
Houston police blocked off a section of the Beltway 8 feeder road at the Eastex Freeway about 3:40 p.m.
A parked pickup truck was found on the overpass above the place the body was found, investigators said.
Detectives said they were working to determine if the man fell off the ramp or if he jumped off.
The man's identity has not been released.
Traffic was backed up in the area while police investigated. Police said the investigation would take several hours.
