SUGAR LAND, Texas -

A man's body was found on a freeway early Wednesday.

Sugar Land police said the body was discovered on the Southwest Freeway and Highway 90A about 3 a.m.

Investigators said they found the man slumped over a guardrail.

Lanes were closed for several hours while police investigated, but they reopened around 7 a.m.

Officers said they do not know how the man got onto the freeway.
