Preparation Time:  10 minutes

Makes 4-6  Servings

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 package chorizo

1/2 package bacon chopped

2 Tablespoon Adams Reserve Val Verde Rub
1 small onion, diced small

1 bottle Cookwell’s Bock & Brown Sugar Marinade

4 cans of 14.5 oz. beans: 1 each -- black, red kidney, white, garbanzo (all drained and rinsed)

Salt – to taste

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a large pot, brown chorizo and bacon with onions.

  2. Combine drained beans with bacon mixture and bottle of Bock & Brown Sugar Marinade and Val Verde Rub.

  3. Simmer mixture on medium-low heat for 15 to 20 minutes.

 

This is a great side dish for picnics and barbecues.
