Beauty supply store robbed at knifepoint

HOUSTON -

Detectives are looking for a man who robbed a northeast Harris County beauty supply store at knifepoint.

Harris County sheriff's deputies said a man walked into the shop in the 5200 block of Aldine Mail Route about 2:45 p.m.

The man walked around the store and eventually went up to the counter, where he pulled out a knife, pointed it at the clerk and demanded cash, investigators said.

The clerk complied with the robber's demands.

The robber was described as Hispanic, 25 to 35 years old, 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall and 150 to 180 pounds with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored heavy jacket with silver-colored buttons, a gray hooded sweatshirt, a dark-colored watch cap, jeans, sunglasses and dirty light-colored shoes.

The man fled the scene in a dark-colored, four-door passenger vehicle.
