A Humble high school is infested with dozens of bats.

According to Charles Ned, the Humble High School's principle, a colony of bats has been spotted near the school's front entrance.

He sent out a letter to all parents alerting them of the situation and detailing how they are working to fix the problem.

"What we are going to be doing this weekend is putting an excluder device that won't let them back into the building once they exit. Hopefully, by early next week, we will have our problem contained and out of the building." said Karen Collier, the Director of Public Information for Humble Independent School District.

The school said no bats have been seen inside the school and no students or faculty have come in contact with the bats.
