William George Gammon Charged With Possession Of Child Porn

HOUSTON -

An attorney is being held in federal custody until he faces trial on child porn charges, KPRC Local 2 reported Wednesday.

William George Gammon, 49, has been charged with possession of child pornography obtained via the Internet.

According to court records, investigators executed a search warrant at Gammon's home and found thousands of images and more than 100 videos containing child pornography on his computers.

Gammon was arrested on Thursday and a judge decided Tuesday that he should be held until trial because he poses a danger to the community.

If convicted, Gammon could face up to 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and a supervision for life upon release.
