HOUSTON -

Firefighters are investigating the cause of a suspicious fire at a shopping center in northwest Harris County.

The fire started around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday at a shopping center on Clay Road near Greenhouse Road.  When they arrived, firefighters found heavy flames coming from the back of a meat market in the center.

According to reports, fire units managed to quickly get the fire under control.

The Harris County Fire Marshall said the fire appeared to have multiple points of origin and looked suspicious, so arson units are investigating.

Three businesses were damaged by the fire.

No one was injured.
