One man was arrested Saturday after police said he, along with another man, barricaded people inside a bar and set the building on fire.
Detectives said the men had been tossed out of the La Estrella Bar in the 8000 block of Harrisburg on April 19.
Surveillance video showed the men closing burglar bars and then barricading the door with a large piece of wood. The men are then seeing pouring gasoline around a rear exit and then setting it on fire, investigators said.
Everyone was able to get out through a third exit. No injuries were reported.
One of the suspects, Jaime Mata, 30, was arrested and charged with felony arson. Mata's criminal history includes drug, weapons, burglary and auto theft charges. He will be in court Monday.
The second suspect goes by the name "Pepe," investigators said. He was last seen wearing blue shorts and no shirt. He has several distinctive tattoos.
Anyone with information about Pepe's whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
