HOUSTON -

An investigation is underway into what started a fire at a northeast Houston home early Wednesday morning.

The fire broke out around 2:30 a.m. on Eubanks St. and Helmers St.

When firefighters arrived at the home, they said flames were shooting out of the small one story wood frame home.

Those fierce flames prevented firefighters from going into the home.

They fought the flames from outside.

Fortunately all the people who were inside managed to get out safely, no one was injured.
