An armed man robbed a bank inside a north Harris County grocery store.

FBI officials said the robber targeted the First Convenience Bank inside the Kroger on Spring Cypress near Interstate 45 on Tuesday about 10:15 a.m.

Investigators said the man, who was armed with a gun, demanded cash.

The teller handed over and undisclosed amount of cash and the robber left.

The robber was described as white, in his late 20s to early 30s, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall and 175 to 200 pounds with a medium build, brown hair and a full beard. He was last seen wearing a plaid long-sleeved shirt, khaki pants, a Texas Longhorns baseball cap and black metal-framed eyeglasses.
