A Texas Panhandle physician and his wife have been found dead in their home and police have recovered a gun believed used in the shootings.

Amarillo police say no suspects are being sought in the deaths of 71-year-old Dr. Henry Norrid and his 53-year-old wife, Carolyn.

Police located the bodies Tuesday after a friend reported that the Norrids had not been seen for several days.

Autopsies have been ordered. Police have not released further details on the shootings.
