Almost $500K seized during traffic stop

ROSENBERG, Texas -

Agents with the Fort Bend county Drug Task Force seized almost half a million dollars in cash during a traffic stop.

A detective noticed a tractor-trailer traveling southbound on the Southwest Freeway near F.M. 2218 in Rosenberg on Nov. 5.

According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, the detective became suspicious and used his K-9 partner to search the vehicle.

Investigators said the search uncovered more than $481,000.

Marcos Camacho, 48, of Humble, and Daniel Guzman, 32, a Mexican citizen, were both arrested.
