A Pasadena couple is accused of starving their children
A Pasadena couple is facing charges, accused of starving their four children.
The kids were removed from their home on Peach lane and Dallas street after an investigation by the Texas Child Protective Services found them nearly starved.
The case began back in August 2011 when Andrea Murrey brought her sick 4 year-old daughter to the hospital.
Hospital employees contacted CPS and reported the girl was dirty, unkempt and was covered in bruises.
In December a caseworker reported finding all four of Murrey's children had been malnourished, including an six-month-old infant who weighed just seven pounds.
Both Andrea Murrey and her husband Nicholas are charged with injury to a child by omission.
