HOUSTON -- Burglars used an old utility truck to smash into a Walgreens and steal an automatic teller machine, investigators told KPRC Local 2.
Deputies said the burglary occurred at about 1 a.m. Wednesday at the Walgreens on Highway 249 at Bammel North Houston in northwest Harris County.
The store's surveillance video showed two men with gloves and masks taking the ATM, officials said.
The front of the Walgreens, which was closed at the time of the burglary, sustained extensive damage.
Deputies said this is the third Walgreens in the area to be targeted in the same manner within the last week.
