Jewelry Store Robbed Twice In 2 Weeks

HOUSTON -- A southwest Houston jewelry store was robbed for the second time in two weeks, officials told KPRC Local 2.
Urban Jewelers on the Southwest Freeway near Weslayan Street was robbed at about 5 a.m. Wednesday.
Officials said the front door had been pried open and the cases were shattered.
The value of the merchandise taken and damage was not released.
The store was robbed on June 28. The thieves shattered the front windows of the store and smashed the cases open during that robbery.
Police have not said if the cases may be connected.
