Timothy Randle, 18; Keithron Fields, 17; Alvie Butler, 22; and Ashley Ervin, 17, are also charged with capital murder.Johnson's mother said she has received telephoned death threats since Aparece was laid to rest."Time is running out for you, (expletive). Count your blessings. And after you, it will be Darneisha," the unidentified caller said."You should be in the ground now. I want you to follow 'em," the caller said.Johnson's mother, Sharon, said she already feels dead inside."Me and my kids -- we're just staying, running from door to door," she said. "My mom, she almost experienced a stroke. They told my son -- first, he's dead. Then, I'm dead. Then, my grandbaby that was premature, she's dead. She's next. They even said her name -- Darneisha."The suspects' families at first thought the victims' families or friends were making the threats, but because the caller is naming names, they now believe it's someone close to them who is trying to intimidate them into not naming any other suspects who might be involved.A family friend said Dexter Johnson never had male role models to help shape his life."If you notice, there are no men in the picture. I met with the family. His daddy is a dead-beat daddy and his uncles don't care. He tried to be something he wasn't and now he's paying the cost," Trent Winters said. The five suspects are being held in the Harris County jail without bond.Authorities said Johnson and Fields led the group. Butler is Randle's uncle; Ervin is Randle's cousin and Fields' girlfriend.Police said the crime spree began May 26 with the slaying of retired wood shop teacher Brady Davis, 61. It ended around June 20 when Jose Lopez was found fatally shot.Investigators said Davis was attacked at gunpoint by Johnson and Fields at a car wash. He was found next to his truck, dead from a single gunshot wound.Lopez was carjacked when he stopped at a co-worker's home. He was forced into the back seat of his car, robbed, shot and left in his vehicle, officials said.Detectives are looking into other cases to see if the suspects can be linked to more crimes, including the shooting death of Guadencio Bahena, 32, on June 14 in northeast Houston.
