HOUSTON -- Pictures from surveillance video were released Friday in hopes of catching a man suspected of more than a dozen robberies, KPRC Local 2 reported.
Pearland police said the man approached a male victim at an ATM machine at a Valero store and then followed the victim to a post office, where he put a gun to the victim's face and stole his money. The robber also took the victim's car keys, but not his vehicle, investigators said.
The robber fled in a newer model green-over-tan Ford Explorer or Expedition with running boards. Two women were inside the vehicle with the suspect.
Pearland investigators said the robber may be involved in as many as 13 similar incidents in south and southwest Houston.
The robber is described as a black man, 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 10 to 6 feet 2 inches tall, 180 to 190 pounds, and was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jean shorts and black and white athletic shoes.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest and charging of any suspects in these robberies.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
