HOUSTON -- Six passengers on board a flight from Lima, Peru, became ill by the time they arrived at Bush Intercontinental Airport Friday morning, KPRC Local 2 reported.
Officials said Continental flight 591 landed in Houston at about 11 a.m., nearly five hours late, because the plane was diverted to Merida, Mexico, at one point.
Officials said the passengers complained of abdominal pain, nausea and dehydration.
Officials are working to determine a cause for the reported illnesses.
