Pilot Injured When Helicopter Crashes At Airfield

Cause Under Investigation

POSTED: Thursday, June 8, 2006

HOUSTON -- A helicopter crashed in Montgomery County Thursday morning, injuring the pilot, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Officials said the chopper went down at Williams Airfield on Golden Trails shortly after 10 a.m.

After it crashed, the aircraft then rolled onto its side.

The pilot was the only person on board. He suffered minor head injuries, including a laceration.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
