Man Shot, Crashes Pickup Truck Into House Dies
Police Have No Suspects

HOUSTON -- A man who was shot while driving in northwest Harris County and slammed into a house early Monday has died, police told KPRC Local 2.Investigators said the accident happened just before 2 a.m. in the 19000 block of Quiet Brook at Shady Brooke.According to police, someone shot the driver of a pickup truck in the head as he left a party down the street. He then lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the side of the house.LifeFlight Helicopter took the driver to Memorial Hermann Hospital.He died at the hospital.The truck landed in the dining room of the home. No one inside was injured.Police have no suspects in the case. Investigators said they hope witnesses at the party can help identify the shooter.
