House Under Renovation Goes Up In Flames

HOUSTON -- A home undergoing renovations was destroyed in a fire Tuesday, KPRC Local reported.The house in the 4900 block of Valkeith Drive at Millbury caught fire at about 2 a.m.It was empty because the previous owners had sold it a few weeks ago. The new homeowner was renovating it before putting it back on the market."We understand that the home was sold to a builder who was fixing it up, so it was having work done on it recently in the last couple of weeks," neighbor Richard Stetzer said.A vehicle in the garage was also destroyed.No one was injured.The cause of the blaze is not yet known.
