Attempted Robbery Turns Into Shootout Outside Strip Club
No One Injured

HOUSTON -- Shots were exchanged in the parking lot of a southwest Houston strip club Thursday during a robbery attempt, police told KPRC Local 2.Officials said a man was leaving the Scores Cabaret in the 9800 block of Westpark at South Gessner at about 3 a.m. when a gunman approached.At the same time, some patrons were exiting the club and tried to help.The robber opened fire and everyone ran back inside the club, investigators said.One person in the club then ran back outside and fired at the robber, according to witnesses.A few windows were broken, but no one was injured.The robber escaped.
