A T-shirt design led police to a suspect accused of defacing buildings with graffiti, officials told KPRC Local 2 Tuesday.

Leon Dagoberto Jr., 18, was arrested Monday at 9 p.m. and charged with defacing public and private buildings by the use of graffiti.

Rosenberg police said more than 25 cases of graffiti have been reported since March. Dagoberto is believed to be responsible for 20 of them.

The graffiti consisted of several distinctive symbols, such as a gas mask, self-portrait and certain numbers and letters, which were similar to what Dagoberto had on a T-shirt, according to authorities.

The suspect's bond was set at $20,000.
