Kendrick Jackson disappeared from his father's southwest Houston apartment April 7. Fountain is considered a suspect in the case. He was charged with injury to a child and filing a false police report shortly after the boy disappeared. The injury to a child charge was later dismissed.New Black Panther Party leader Quanell X is a spokesman for the family. He said they hoped Fountain could help with the investigation."That's our No. 1 goal -- hoping he would be released and that he would go with us back out into the community and see what new leads we could track down," Quanell X said.Search crews said they won't start looking again for Kendrick unless a new lead surfaces.The family plans to convene Sunday at the apartment where Kendrick was last seen in hopes of uncovering new information.Anyone with information about Kendrick's whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (713) 222-TIPS.
