HOUSTON -- A man was found shot in an east Harris County motel room Friday, officials told KPRC Local 2.Harris County sheriff's deputies said a man was in his room at the I-10 Motel on the East Freeway near Sheldon Road when someone shot him shortly before 11:30 a.m.The shooting victim then jumped through the window of his room and was found nearby faced down with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.He was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition.The gunman escaped.Officials did not release the man's name, but said he is from Louisiana.
