HOUSTON -- Two fires in the same night at a northwest Harris County home damaged parts of the attic, the back of the home and a teen's new car.Firefighters extinguished the flames at a home on Broken Elm Drive and Sorrel Ridge Drive in Spring at about 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, but the fire started back up hours later.The second fire was finally put out at about 6 a.m.Investigators said the fire originally started in the home's garage but authorities have not determined what sparked the flames.
