HOUSTON -- A modern day Bonnie and Clyde suspected of robbing fast food restaurants were arrested Monday and placed behind bars, authorities told KPRC Local 2.
John T. Mock and Maxine Sallie were charged with robbing at least nine restaurants in five cities, including Alvin, Houston, Baytown, Deer Park, League City and Pasadena.
Investigators from several police departments believed the robberies, which happened between 1 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Feb. 2 through Feb. 5, were connected.

Officers with the Alvin Police Department said surveillance video from one of the robberies led them to the couple at their La Marque home, where they were arrested.
