The deputies slowed down but that is when the driver of a Ford Mustang came around a curve on the freeway and was unable to stop before crashing into the rear of the patrol car."The Mustang rode the wall up around the patrol car and actually went back into the roadway in front of the patrol car and the patrol car had a secondary impact with the Mustang again," Harris County Sheriff's Department Deputy Matthew Smith said.After that collision, a pickup truck also ran into the back of the deputies' car.Both deputies and the driver of a truck were taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital with minor injuries.The driver and a passenger inside the Mustang, along with the dog, were not injured.
