A new clue led Texas EquuSearch to a new area Monday in the ongoing search for a missing University of Houston-downtown student.

Nate Hendrickson's green Nissan Sentra was found at West Oaks Mall on Highway 6 at Westheimer Saturday.

The vehicle had parking tickets dating back to Dec. 1, which was the day after Hendrickson disappeared. Hendrickson, 24, was last seen working on his computer at his family's Spring Valley home on Nov. 30.

Spring Valley police said Hendrickson's parents found their son's cell phone and wallet in his bedroom. Investigators said they have very few clues to go on and that there are no signs of foul play.

Searchers began looking through the swampy land near Barker Dam, but have not yet found anything.

Anyone with information on Hendrickson's whereabouts should call the Spring Valley Police Department at (713) 465-8323.
