Woman Unable To Save Drive-By Shooting Victim

Police Say Man Shot At Least Once In Head, Chest

HOUSTON -- A woman tried to save a man who was shot during a drive-by shooting outside a northwest Houston club Thursday night.

Police said they found the man in the middle of the street at Westview Drive and Bunker Hill Road shortly before 9 p.m.

The woman told police she performed CPR on the man but could not save him.

Police said the man had been shot at least once in the head and once in the chest.

No word on whether the woman knew the man.

Authorities have not made any arrests.
