Reward Offered To Help Nab Credit Card Thief

Investigators: Man Spent Nearly $4,000 Within 2 Hours Of Stealing Wallet

Houston police hope someone will recognize a man caught on tape using a stolen credit card, KPRC Local 2 reported on Tuesday.

Investigators released two images of a man who spent nearly $4,000 on a credit card within two hours of stealing a wallet from a car on Sunday.

Rick Overhalt, whose credit cards were stolen, told KPRC Local 2 that he doesn't want anyone else to go through what he experienced.

"Obviously, he's doing this as a career and I would hate to think someone else has to go through the same headaches I'm going through," Overhalt said.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case.
