HOUSTON -- A Houston radio station's stunt testing high-occupancy vehicle lane restrictions didn't go as planned Tuesday morning. An employee of KKRW 93.7 The Arrow placed a mannequin in the passenger seat of his vehicle and drove in the Katy Freeway HOV lane during Tuesday morning's rush hour.A METRO officer spotted him and pulled him over near Post Oak Boulevard at about 7:30 a.m.
In the end, the officers ticketed the driver for violating the three-person rule of the HOV lane.On the air, deejays said they were just testing the system.
