HOUSTON -- A Latin music superstar recovered in a hospital Monday after falling off a stage at the Toyota Center during his concert, KPRC Local 2 reported Sunday.
Juan Gabriel's concert had just begun when he tripped on some cables and fell 6 feet during his first song.
Gabriel's fans were stunned by what happened, and prayed as they saw paramedics take him away.
"Everyone was crying. It was really sad and we just hope that he's OK. We were like which hospital … where do we go see him at? It feels like he's our family," one fan told KPRC Local 2.
Doctors said Gabriel suffered a concussion and broken wrist.
The concert is expected to be rescheduled.
