A Cinco Ranch High School coach and teacher was charged Wednesday, accused of peeping through a 16-year-old girl's bedroom window, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Timothy Williford, a football coach and special education teacher at Cinco Ranch High School in the Katy Independent School District, was taken into custody early Wednesday morning.

He was charged with disorderly conduct and a "peeping Tom" charge, both misdemeanors.

"I saw the whites of his eyes outside my window at the very bottom," the Cinco Ranch High junior told KPRC Local 2. "I was pretty hysterical after that. I was crying and I was very scared. I didn't know him and it was scary seeing a man looking through my window."

The girl alerted her father, who confronted the 31-year-old man in the front yard of their home.

"My dad said that he went and started walking toward him and he was just calmly walking to his car. Then my dad yelled at him, asking him what he was doing. He was just, like, 'Nothing,' and walked back to his car, got in it and drove away," the girl said.

Investigators were able to track Williford down because the girl's father wrote down the license plate number of the car the teacher left in.

District officials suspended Williford pending the outcome of an internal investigation.

The honor roll student told KPRC Local 2 that it might take her a while to recover.

"I never thought of anything like this happening, especially to me," the girl said.
