5 injured when truck flips in wreck

Woman trapped in truck, rescued by firefighters

HOUSTON – Five people were taken to a hospital after a pickup truck flipped over during a major crash.

The accident happened around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday on Sunbeam Street and Fairland Drive in southeast Houston. Investigators said a car collided with the pickup at the intersection.

Firefighters used the jaws of life to rescue a woman trapped in the truck.

Five people suffered a variety of injuries and were taken to a hospital.

The crash is under investigation to determine who was at fault.
