Five people were injured Thursday after a METRO bus crash in southeast Houston.
Police said the crash happened in the 4900 block of Scott at Rosedale shortly before 3 p.m.
Another vehicle ran into the bus. The 71-year-old driver told KPRC Local 2 that he dozed off briefly before slamming into the back of the bus. He said he suffers from high blood pressure, but was not sure if that played a role in the crash.
The extent of injuries was not released.
It's not yet known if the driver will be charged.
