5 accused of using fake cash at Fort Bend fair

HOUSTON – Two adults and three juveniles have been charged in connection with two separate cases involving counterfeit cash at the Fort Bend County Fair.

Fort Bend County sheriff's deputies said a few workers at the carnival reported receiving fake cash from two men on Oct. 3. Deputies said their investigation led them to Ryan Walker, 26, and Nelson White, 24, who have been arrested and charged with third-degree forgery.

The second case involved three juveniles who used counterfeit $20 bills at the carnival on Oct. 5. Officials have not said what charges they face.
