Authorities said five men, two who were dressed as women, robbed eight people Monday morning in the area near F.M. 1960 and the North Freeway.

"There were two individuals dressed as females and they are in fact males," Houston Police Department Officer J.R. Chase told Local 2.

One of the victims was robbed in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart on Cutten Road at F.M. 1960 while another victim was attacked at an Exxon gas station on Fallbrook. The other victims were attacked near Willowbrook Mall.

"They were in the city and the county. A security guard saw the vehicle and we responded," Harris County Sheriff's Deputy J.B. Trump said.

Authorities with Harris County and Houston worked together to track the suspects' location to a wooded area near Ella Boulevard at about 9:30 a.m.

"We caught all the crooks. That's what counts," Trump said.

Officials said no one was injured during the crime spree.

Investigators said none of the robberies occurred inside a business.

Authorities have not said what charges the suspects could face.
