Humble police arrest a man during a routine disturbance call after they discovered boxes of child pornography and equipment to make more of it, Local 2 reported Friday in an exclusive story.

Roger Wiley, 29, was arrested Monday night at his apartment at the Timbers of Deerbrook complex on F.M. 1960 for possession of a box of child pornography.

Humble police responded to a drunken juvenile disturbance call earlier Monday. When police arrived on the scene they found a 15-year-old heavily intoxicated.

Officers asked where the teen had been. The teen told officers that Wiley paid him $20 to help him move furniture. Detectives said that in the process of moving, Wiley gave the boy so much whiskey that the boy became violently ill.

The boy's father called police, and when officers arrived at the complex and entered Wiley's apartment, they discovered the child porn.

Local 2 asked the teen if he saw any of the pornography while he was in Wiley's apartment.

"No ma'am. I guess he had it hidden or put away," the teen told Local 2. "He's a sick person. I never suspected that was going on in his apartment."

After obtaining a search warrant, officers found 1 child porn magazine, 182 nude pictures of children. They also seized a computer, cameras, film and computer disks. The seized items were turned over to the FBI's Innocent Image Task Force for examination.

"We found pictures of child pornography that was very disturbing as a parent, as a police officer," Humble Police Department Detective Jackie Blanchard said.

Blanchard told Local 2 that Wiley worked for a major airline in cargo at Bush Intercontinental Airport.

Police know the suspect frequently traveled and said they would look closely at his recent destinations. Humble police said they have not been able to find any local victims and continue to investigate the case.

"He has denied to me that the pictures were his," Blanchard said.

Wiley is being held in the Harris County Jail on a $250,000 bond for possessing child pornography. Police requested high bond because they believe Wiley was in the process of moving.

The suspect will appear in court for arraignment on April 22.
