A woman found dead in the back yard of her southeast Harris County home was bitten to death, the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office reported Thursday.

According to an autopsy report, Sandra Sanchez died from multiple dog bites to her head and torso.

Officials said Sanchez, 33, basically bled to death.

Kenneth Gamble, the woman's roommate, found his two dogs hovering over her body in the back yard of his home on Sagekaron near Sageplum at about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Gamble signed the dogs over to Animal Control.

Officials have not decided whether or not to euthanize them.
