ATM targeted at hospital parking garage

HOUSTON -

Houston police searched Thursday for juveniles who tried to steal an ATM from the Texas Childrens Hospital parking garage.

Investigators said four people ripped the ATM out of the wall in the garage on Colonnade at 3 a.m. and set off the alarm.

When police arrived, the thieves dropped the ATM and took off. One suspect was caught jumping a fence at a nearby apartment complex, officials said.

Police used a K-9 unit to try and track down the other three, who remain on the loose.

Investigators said there was a security camera on top of the ATM and they will review the video for clues.
